As a thank you to everyone who has been supporting my art, I like to give you all some extra deals so that you can grab that piece of art you’ve wanted, or maybe even find a loved one a gift! This year, some of the deals you’ll find are kinda wild. This is partly a push to prepare for the coming years, they’re going to be rough, and all sales from this will go to helping me prepare. Bonus sale - this year I want to try something new. I love the idea of reminding people how much it means to small businesses when you pickup gifts in our shops, but I usually hold the sale right on top of Small Business Saturday, so it kind of ends up all lumped together. To try and highlight it a little better, for a handful of days, I’ll have additional savings. During those days you’ll get TWO bonus stickers with your orders. One will be the current bonus sticker (black hole cat), and our holiday bonus sticker (white dwarf cat). After that the bonus sticky will be switched over to the white cat. This month's character auction is now live! Mirabilis appears as a cackling, wild spirit, offering the choice at a game of chance, or a key to certain madness. She’s aware that the options aren’t great, enjoying every minute of the game. Beware, while her lessons might be beneficial, she is not a tame spirit! The castings from this mold, (sculpted by myself), are only obtainable from the Animantia Arcana auctions & the Create-A-Whisp sales. Only 14 castings of each mold exist. These are no ordinary character auctions, as you get a physical package of traditional art along with a character which you’ll come to know well over time. The goal in my auctions is to provide people with characters who have meaningful stories, and that go beyond an idea in the mind/digital space. Just added some unique and silly limited time pieces of art to my shop! This project began in 2017, as practice to see how far I could push customization of damaged My Little Pony dolls. This year, I finally finished a few that had been in progress for years. All of them came to me in rough shape. So I gave them some love by cleaning them, then modified (sculpted), painted, and re-rooted the hair. The hair is real nylon, the same manufacturer that is used in original MLPs. This way, it shines, shimmers, and can be stylized like a regular MLP. The first batch was offered to convention goers, and it felt right to do that again. These listings will only be up until the end of the year, whatever doesn't sell goes into my personal collection. Although MLP customization will never be the core of my art, (these will likely be the only ones), it only felt right to give other people a chance to take one home, if one spoke to them! Several from the first batch wandered off to new homes, so who knows who might want to take one home. The three available are Foxglove Fae, Sunset Flicker, and from the initial batch Somnus will be available one more time! I also had to show you all Morning Star, (the one with green and blue hair). He will be staying with me, since he has "sticky" issues. That happens sometimes with material experiments in art! I still love how he turned out, he just needs some special care to stay lookin' new. Speaking of, each will also come with a care sheet, so any new owners can make sure their custom Goatpony also looks great for years to come. Again, I will have these up until the end of the year!
